Medical providers can diagnose your symptoms, recommend treatment, and write prescriptions for many minor illnesses and injuries – all from the comfort and safety of home!
Prescriptions:
If a MeMD provider believes medication is warranted, he or she can write a prescription+ which can be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice for easy pick-up.
When medically necessary, MeMD’s providers (except therapists) can submit a prescription electronically for purchase and pick-up at your local participating pharmacy; however, MeMD providers cannot prescribe elective medications, narcotic pain relievers, or controlled substances. MeMD’s providers are each licensed by the appropriate licensing board for the state in which they are providing services and all have prescriptive authority for each of the states in which they are licensed.

*Therapy (18+) visit fees shall be paid in full by patients upfront at the time of service. Therapy visits are visits scheduled with a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or equivalent licensed professional.
** Therapy services are provided on an appointment basis. If the patient fails to properly cancel a scheduled appointment at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment or if the patient is late to an appointment causing the patient to miss more than 40% of the allotted time for the appointment, the patient (or legal guardian) will be responsible for up to a $65 missed appointment fee.
